Five Finger Death Punch Sign with Rise Records

Although they’re still dealing with the lawsuit brought about their current label, Prospect Park, Five Finger Death Punch now know which label they’ll call home whenever that gets resolved: Rise Records.

Says guitarist Zoltan Bathory of the deal:

“We are looking forward to the next phase of our recording career. We have had great success with our current label, Prospect Park, and will continue to enjoy further success with our next and final album (subject to surmounting the label’s court action to prevent us from recording it), after which we will commence a new and exciting label partnership with the people at Rise and BMG.”

This is a big, big get for Rise — they have some very successful acts on their roster to be sure (The Acacia Strain, Of Mice & Men, Chelsea Grin, etc.), but nobody even nearly as big as FFDP.

So… congrats to Rise and FFDP? I hope they’re very happy together. Yay.
