Listen to a New Revocation Track Called “Monolithic Ignorance”

Revocation - Great is Our SinGee, this next Revocation album is gonna be banger, isn’t it? Last month we got to hear “Communion,” which promptly punched us in the gut, and today we get another new one called “Monolithic Ignorance,” which is streaming now on Spotify and has been premiered in lyric video form on Stereogum.

Even at just 4:34, “Monolithic Ignorance” has the feel of a classic Revocation progressive, epic masterpiece, like album closer “The Tragedy of Modern Ages” from Existence is Futile. It’s a bit more laid back in tempo, it’s got tons of changes, a gorgeous arrangement, some killer guitar work… in other words, I’m saying it’s fucking great. Also: guitarist Dan Gargiulo penned this tune! Great work, dude.

New album Great is Our Sin comes out July 22nd on Metal Blade; pre-order here. Catch Revocation on this year’s Summer Slaughter tour alongside Cannibal Corpse, Nile, Suffocation, and more; dates here.

Thanks: Ranpal C.
