“Red Death, White Light”: Seven Minutes of New Skeletonwitch

Skeletonwitch - The Apothic Gloom

Skeletonwitch rarely write songs over four minutes long — if I’m not mistaken, their longest track to date is “More Cruel Than Weak,” which is 4:19 — so the concept of a seven-minute-long SW song is immediately intriguing.

Thankfully, it’s also immediately killer! “Red Death, White Light” may be nearly twice as long as Skeletonwitch’s lengthiest tunes to date, but not a second feels wasted. Probably because, in true Skeletonwitch fashion, every second rocks, every second is fun, and every second feels totally EVIL. That’s a winning combination.

Check out “Red Death, White Light” below! The song will appear on Skeletonwitch’s new EP, The Apothic Gloom, which comes out August 19 on Prosthetic. If you pre-order the EP, you’ll the track as an immediate download. Three cheers for instant gratification!
