MEOWTALLICA is Exactly What it Sounds Like it is

When I was a kid, some weirdo aunt of mine sent my family a cassette tape of Christmas songs with only meows for vocals. As an impressionable youngin I was shocked and confused, but nevertheless amused.

Now we’ve got the Internet, and more importantly we’ve got CATS on the Internet, a well of entertainment that never seems to run dry. To wit, this video of Meowtallica, which is exactly what it sounds like it is: a compilation of Metallica songs consisting entirely of meows in place of Papa Het. With an accompanying video done in the style of those classic ’80s TV ads, this may be the pinnacle of modern human accomplishment. For today, anyway.
