Listen to Some of Neurosis’ New Album, Fires Within Fires

For some reason, over the course of the past 24 hours, half the bands in the world decided to release new music: so far today, we’ve heard fresh jams from The Dillinger Escape Plan, Opeth, Trap Them, Arsis… and now Neurosis, kinda-sorta.

I say “kinda-sorta” because the band’s newly-released video features music from their new album, Fires Within Fires, but isn’t for one specific song. Still, I imagine all your Neurosis fans out there will wanna hear this, especially given that, according to a press release, this will be the “first and only glimpse of the music on this record, prior to release date.” Which is a ballsy move, to be certain. Then again, Neurosis probably don’t need to do much to convince their fans to check out their latest release; The Cult of Neurosis has no shortage of die-hards.
