The Agonist are Living in “The Moment”

The Agonist’s 2015 album Eye of Providence was a beast of a record that made the metal world at large turn around and pay attention. As we’ve suggested in this space before, the album really tickled a NWOAHM nostalgic sweet spot we didn’t even knew we had.

And now they’re back, just a little over a year later, preparing to release another album called Five. First single “The Chain” was a banger in line with what you’d expect from The Agonist, and now another new one called “The Moment” showcases the band’s slower side while still retaining some heaviness and power. It’s a damn good track, and you can watch the video for it below.
