Video: Drummer Richard Christy (ex-Death, ex-Iced Earth) Performs New Charred Walls of the Damned Track “My Eyes”

Richard Christy is an undeniably great metal drummer. The man has been involved in quite a few seriously influential bands, and his latest project, Charred Walls of the Damned, blends blistering thrash with melodic vocals to create something heavy, fast, and fun.

The group have now released a new song, “My Eyes,” via a stellar drum playthrough video. It’s the second track (after “Soulless”) is the second track debut for their upcoming album, Creatures Watching Over the Dead, and it’s effing awesome.

Christy blazes through the song like the master that he is. There’s some really intricate stuff going on here, but Christy makes it seem like it’s all just another day in the office. I guess, for him, it probably is just another day at the office… lucky dog.
