Watch a New Video of Nergal from Behemoth’s Country/Folk Project

Behemoth’s Nergal — or, as he’s known in Brooklyn, “Noigull” — has released a new Instagram video which provides our best listen to his country/folk project yet. It also reveals the name of the project: Me and That Man. It also also reveals that it while it’s definitely not metal, it may not be as country/folkish as we’ve been led to believe:

Is it just me, or does that sound quite a bit more like Dick Dale-style surf rock than country or folk from the 60s? Of course, Dale was influenced by country and folk, ssssssssooooo…

Not that matters. The bottom line is, whatever genre Me and That Man turns out to be, it sounds like it could be interesting. Presumably we’ll get to hear an entire song one day and find out.
