Malignancy Speak An “Antiquated Vernacular”

0

Tech-death stalwarts Malignancy are sort of like your mom — even though you might not appreciate them at all times, it’s always good to know they’re out there if you need them (also they make you nauseous when they talk about sex).

So it was heartwarming to wake up and see that there was a new Malignancy track waiting for me this morning, with a lyric video to boot. The track, “Antiquated Vernacular,” is the kind of crushing pinch harmonic-laden death metal once expects from the band, with lyrics about the perpetuation of ignorance, the death of human communication, and undeserved arrogance derived from living online… hey, wait a second, is this song about MetalSucks?

Decide for yourself. Get gross to Malignancy’s “Antiquated Vernacular” below. The band’s new EP, Malignant Future, drops October 11th via Willowtip; you can pre-order it with a shirt featuring the charming design below here.
