Great news, gang: Hollow Earth, the band so good they redeem their hometown of Detroit for Kid Rock, will release a new full-length, Dead Planet, December 2 on Good Fight.

More great news, gang: we have your first taste of the album right here! By turns moody, tribal, and groovy, “From Empyrean to Damnation” is fueled by a riff guaranteed to cause involuntary headbanging and windmilling; if you’re not already hip to this band, one listen is all it will take to convince you that they’re one of the finest metallic hardcore acts on the scene today. In fact, the song is so rad that a guest appearance from The Black Dahlia Murder’s Trevor Strnad — one of the best frontmen in modern metal — is just icing on the already-scrumptious cake. Don’t even bother putting on socks before you listen to this one, ’cause they’re just gonna get knocked off.

Check out “From Empyrean to Damnation” below! Pre-orders for Dead Planet should be available soon.
