Ozzy and Jack Prepare for Season Two of their World Detour TV Show

0

The History Channel debuted Ozzy & Jack’s World Detour this summer. The show follows everyone’s favorite Sabbath frontman and his son as they visit a number of prominent sites and delve deep into their history.

Looks like fans of the series have something to get excited about: they’re in talks for a second season! The bat-biter had a chat with the Houston Press about his plans post-Black Sabbath, and he let some info about the second season slip:

“[I’m looking forward to] my bed; my dog, Rocky; and of course, my family. I will have a few weeks to rest and then there are talks about filming a second season of Ozzy & Jack’s World Detour with my son, Jack.”

I tend to watch the History Channel pretty religiously, in spite of its content suffering over the past few years, and I’ve caught an episode or two of the show. It ain’t bad. I don’t know that I’d ever tune in just to watch it, but Ozzy’s signature brand of babble makes for great background noise. Considering they’ve only been to a handful of places like Rushmore, Stonehenge, and the Alamo, the show wouldn’t be lacking for more content. There’s plenty of really interesting shit to explore, especially if they get out of the US.

Don’t worry, it doesn’t look like Ozzy is tapping out of the music game anytime soon. In addition to his reality TV plans, he’s also collaborating with Billy Idol guitarists Steve Stevens and Billy Morrison on new music. As always, we’ll keep you posted as new info comes about.

Which historical place would you like to see the Osbourne clan visit? I’d like to see ’em tackle anything having to do with Italy, or the Catacombs of Paris.
