Video: Metallica, Jimmy Fallon, and The Roots Play “Enter Sandman” on Classroom Instruments

You probably didn’t even hear about this because the news has been kind of buried, but the legendary thrash band, Metallica, has a new album coming out tomorrow. Seriously! Those dudes are still around! It’s really unfortunate that they don’t get much media attention, but such is life.

ANYWAY, Metallica were on Jimmy Fallon’s show last night, and as you may know, Jimmy Fallon’s house band is The Roots. Who knows where inspiration comes from, but somehow, someone looked at this motley crew and was like, “It would be really entertaining to have them play ‘Enter Sandman’ all together on kiddie instruments.”

And that someone was correct.
