Since we know how much our readers love metal-themed emojis, we thought you’d like to know that, as reported by The PRP, “Metallica now have their very own custom emoji for the #metallica, #blackenedfriday & #hardwiredtoselfdestruct hashtags on the social media platform.” Per Metallica’s own Twitter account, the emoji looks like this:
So why don’t more metal bands have custom emojis? As The PRP points out, shit is mad expensive. Obviously, that’s not such an issue for Metallica. But I wouldn’t get your hopes up for, say, an Exhorder emoji anytime soon.
