A Perfect Circle Have New Material Written, Will Tour in 2017

While Tool continue to take their sweet time writing what will end up being their first new album in more than ten years, Maynard James Keenan will continue to stay busy with other projects: according to an interview APC mainman Billy Howerdel gave with The Pulse of Radio [via Blabbermouth], A Perfect Circle are getting ready to become an active band again.

Howerdel revealed that he’s been working on new material, and that one show is booked — May 7th at the Hollywood Bowl — with a full tour likely. Howerdel said back in 2013 that he had “75% of the foundation” done, so take that with a grain of salt, but the timing certainly seems right for APC to return. And, at the very least, hopefully we’ll get some live dates. The band previously toured between 2010 and 2013 after a hiatus, and they released a live album called Stone and Echo in 2013.

More as we get it.
