Mike Patton Reunites with Dave Lombardo in Dead Cross

We know how proud Dave Lombardo is of the work he did with Fantômas — so it’s not really a surprise that the drummer would want to once again work with vocalist Mike Patton.

Which is now happening: Patton is now the singer for Dead Cross, the former Slayer skinsman’s project with Justin Pearson (The Locust, Retox, Head Wound City) and Michael Crain (Retox, Festival of Dead Deer). The group will release their debut full-length next year on Patton’s Ipecac Recordings.

Is this great news or this is great news? Dead Cross were already badass… with Patton now involved, they can kick shit up to a whole other level. Their new release just became one of my most anticipated for 2017.
