Watch a Thirteen-Year-Old Girl Nail Meshuggah’s “Clockworks” on the Drums

Animals as Leaders’ Tosin Abasi shared this video of thirteen-year-old Alexey Poblete covering Meshuggah’s “Clockworks,” from last year’s The Violent Sleep of Reason, on the drums. Playing Meshuggah’s music is a tremendous challenge at any age, so, yeah, I’d definitely like to know how the heck Poblete got so goddamned good on the drums at such a young age.

But I’d also like to know whether or not her tattoos are real. I know it’s pretty square of me to worry about a young kid getting ink, but think about it: would you have picked anything at age thirteen you’d still be happy to have on your body today?
