Coheed and Cambria Allegedly Planning “Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV” Tour

0

In 2014 Coheed and Cambria took a very special show on the road, playing their landmark second album In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3 in its entirety.

Now The PRP tells us the band seems poised to repeat the formula, with rumors circulating that they’ll be playing their 2005 album Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV, Volume One in full on a tour later this year.

The band posted the below video teaser on Instagram, including an audio clip from the album’s intro and a caption featuring lyrics from the track “Mother May I:”

Run, little children, play.

Fans have begun speculating that Coheed will be doing these performances as a reprise of their Neverender series of concerts in 2008, in which they did four nights each in New York, LA, Chicago and London.

I’d certainly be stoked for a full performance of Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV, Volume One; it’s easily my favorite Coheed album. I haven’t seen the band live in years, but such a show could just be enough to smoke me out of my hole.

We’ll keep you posted.
