Dimmu Borgir’s Next Album Will Feature a Choir

0

Earlier this month we learned that Dimmu Borgir plan to release a live DVD entitled Forces of the Northern Night in April. The band also revealed that “this is not the only gem that the year 2017 holds for Dimmu Borgir” which, of course, led fans to speculate about a new album. Dimmu haven’t released new music since Abrahadabra in 2010.

Now we’ve got at least some inkling of what that “gem” will be. The band stated in a Facebook post that they just wrapped recording with the Norwegian choir Schola Cantorum. They didn’t reveal any more information, but it seems unlikely such a recording would be for anything other than a new album. Here’s the post text, with the Facebook embed below:

“VOICES OF THE APOCALYPSE” ……

It’s a wrap…Recording sessions with Schola Cantorum choir now complete ????????????????????
