Here’s Rob Scallon’s New Song “And Ever”

0

Rob Scallon’s debut solo metal album The Scene is Dead comes out on January 30th. Already we’ve heard “Gas Mask Catalogue” and “JekylnHyde,” and today we get another new track from the effort called “And Ever.”

Like all of the tracks on the album, this one is named after a now defunct band from the Chicago suburbs that was important to the scene in which Scallon grew up. It’s not clear whether each song also takes some influence or pays musical homage to the band after which it’s named, but if so I’m mighty curious about these And Ever fellas, and if not… well, this song is pretty damn cool on its own, as heavy as anything I’ve ever heard from Scallon. So far so good on all of these tracks!
