Hello MetalSucks reader! Welcome to Shit That Comes Out Today, your Satanic bible of this week’s heavy new releases. We list ‘em, we spotlight ‘em, we link you to their preview jams and full streams all for your jammage. Now crank this shit up!

·

iron-reagan-a-dying-worldIron Reagan
Crossover Ministry (Relapse)
On a playlist with: early D.R.I., Municipal Waste, Napalm Death
Listen Crossover Ministry full stream (here)

I remember the moment years ago that a friend arrived to find me listening to Municipal Waste. He was like, “Sounds like late-era D.R.I.! Tight.” I remember another moment years later at a party where the stereo was blaring the band that includes two Waste guys, Iron Reagan. The same friend was like, “Sounds like early D.R.I.! Tight.”

·

tomb-moldTomb Mold
Primordial Malignity (Blood Harvest)
On a playlist with: Carcass, Coffins, Autopsy
Listen Primordial Malignity full stream (here)

Back in July, our Emperor Rhombus on Tomb Mold’s debut four-song demo: “Certain bands are just made for a lo-fi demo recording. That murkiness only adds to their gross, grinding sound. Toronto’s Tomb Mold … is interesting, dynamic, and menacing, and the demo tape production only makes it sound even more grimy and crushing.” Here in February, I state to you that their first album is exactly as awesome as we should’ve been expecting. Were you?

ululatum-tolluntUlulatum Tollunt
Quantum Noose Of Usurpation EP (2016) (Invictus)
On a playlist with: Tortorum, Auroch, Barshasketh
Listen Quantum Noose Of Usurpation full stream (here)

Our little situation here in 2017 — in which a few weird people are compelled beyond reason to fuck the mouth of every human on earth and a few key others back them for likely horrible reasons — might turn you to ice on a daily basis. But if this week’s STCOT is any measure, some people were frozen back in warmer times.

·

bestial-raidsBestial Raids
Master Satan’s Witchery CD (Nuclear War Now!)
On a playlist with: Venefixion, Hell, Valdur
Listen Master Satan’s Witchery full stream (here)

It would have to be like 5 am when I’d finally ask an innocent but annoying question of the dudes in Bestial Raids: “Master Satan”? By that point, we would’ve been partying for hours, so they’d be in good humor — and I’d press on. “Can you explain why anyone would serve any master? How can a fairy tale belong to the spineless, but its inverse is fuel for the strong? Isn’t the charge of the individual to reject fantasy?” Vexing questions, right? I’ll let you know how that turns out. Stay tuned.

tome-of-the-unreplenishedTome Of The Unreplenished
Cosmoprism: The Theurgy Act I (I, Voidhanger)
On a playlist with: KK Null, Boredoms, Converge
Listen Cosmoprism: The Theurgy Act I full stream (here)

The info that accompanies the new mini-album by Tome Of The Replenished, paraphrased: Forget structure, forget melody, forget rhythm; the constraints of music’s language are shrugged off for the chatter and throb of terrible cosmic epiphany; Cosmoprism is a room with no floor or ceiling, it’s a light too close to your eyes, zero gravity at the edge of panic. Enter the void.

88875183271 Judas Priest Turbo 30 Vinyl Outer.inddJudas Priest
Turbo 30 reissue (Sony)
On a playlist with: Night Ranger, Foreigner, ZZ Top
Listen like half of Live From The ‘Fuel For Life’ Tour (here)

The 30th anniversary edition of Judas Priest’s sexy, keyboardy album features a bonus live album/video, from which a bunch of clips have been around for like eight months. That’s long enough to learn of and forget about its distant arrival at least four times. But Turbo 30 is here now, so we can forget for good and focus on the approaching anniversary of their return to awesomeness, Painkiller. Bonus disc of instrumentals, please!!!
