Eighteen Visions are Recording a New Album

0

Eighteen Visions are reuniting! Huzzah! The OC metalcore pioneers that everyone ripped off posted a teaser image yesterday indicating they were up to something after a ten-year break, but exactly what they’re planning wasn’t clear.

Now it is: in a post to his Instagram account, producer Mick Kenney (Anaal Nathrakh, Bleeding Through, Motionless in White, Carnifex, Dawn of Ashes, etc) revealed that he’s currently working with the band on a new album. Although the Instagram post and photo have since been deleted, The PRP snagged its caption before it was yanked:

“Stoked to be Producing this album @18v_official @barracksstudio #18visions #bumberclart”

Additionally, the discography section on Kenney’s official site lists the Eighteen Visions album, title still TBA, with a producing, mixing and mastering credit for 2017. Here’s a screen cap in case that gets pulled too:

Sessions are taking place at The Barracks Recording Studio in Huntington Beach, CA. Vocalist James Hart, guitarist Keith Barney and drummer Trevor Friedrich are all involved in the reunion, although it’s not known who, if anyone else, is joining them.

We will, of course, keep you updated.
