Attila Show Ends Abruptly Following Band’s Physical Fight with Security

Attila’s show at the Turner Hall Ballroom in Milwaukee, WI ended abruptly last night after the band got into it with security. According to Rock Feed, guitarist Chris Linck spotted venue security hassling a fan in a way he felt was inappropriate. Linck jumped into the crowd to intervene, and things took off from there.

Here’s video of the incident:

The band and vocalist Chris Fronzak later commented on Twitter:

When I see band yell “Fuck security!” as the singer throws down his mic and everyone exits the stage, I cannot help but think of this:

Of course, the difference here is that in the GN’R incident, security was protecting a fan from Rose — not the other way ’round. So while I’m sure it was disappointing for those in attendance to have the show end early, it’s hard not to appreciate that the whole thing was the result of Attila trying to stand up for a fan. And I say that as someone who, y’know, fucking LOATHES Attila.

So what do you think? Did Attila handle this the right way? Was there a better alternative? Sound off in the comments section below. I’m curious to know what people think.
