This New Phobia Song Will Leave You “Damaged”

Don’t be afraid: Phobia have returned! The band has announced that they’ll release a new album, Lifeless God, this summer. Check out the sweet cover art, which seems, in style, theme, and font, like an ode to Napalm Death’s classic Scum:

God, even just a drawing of Donald Trump being ripped to shreds makes me overwhelmingly horny.

Ahem.

Meanwhile, the band’s line-up has once again been revamped, and three former members — drum titan Danny Walker (Intronaut, Uphill Battle), and guitarists Leon Del Muerte (Murder Construct, Impaled) Bruce Reeves — are all now back in the group, alongside returning vocalist Shane Mclachlan and bassist Calum Mackenzie. If that makes you think “Holy shit, Lifeless God might really be something special,” well… I’m right there with ya! Especially after hearing the first single from the album, “Damaged.” Imagine being in an auto accident and your car rolls and somehow, against all logic, keeps rolling for more than two minutes… that’s basically “Damaged” in a nutshell. Shit. Is. In. Tense.

Check out “Damaged” below! Lifeless God comes out June 2 on Willowtip. Pre-order it here (physical) or here (digital).
