Obituary Continue Their Animated Adventures in New Video for “10,000 Ways to Die”

In 2015 Obituary released a bitchin’ music video for the song “Violence,” created by animator Balász Gróf, a Hungarian cartoonist. Gróf and Tampa’s finest are back for round two, this time for the track “10,000 Ways to Die” from Obituary’s self-titled new album, which comes out today. The video picks up exactly where the last one left off, making it a true sequel, and features a zombified version of the band taking over the town. Sez Obituary:

“We are so stoked about the new “Ten Thousand Ways To Die” Video. We knew even while making the “Violence” video from the Inked In Blood release that there would be a continuation video to follow. It just goes to show once again that this band is not afraid to have a good time and laugh at ourselves. Balázs is an amazing artist and captured the band’s characters and personalities perfectly in both videos and we are so excited to get the reaction from the Obituary fans.”

Obituary comes out today; read our official review, stream it in full and order it here. Catch the band on the Decibel Tour with Kreator, Horrendous and Midnight this spring; dates here.
