The Acacia Strain Officially Announce New Album; Listen to the First Single Here

Following last week’s tease, The Acacia Strain have now officially announced that they’ll release a new album called Gravebloom on June 30. Here’s the album art, which is very much of a kind with the cover for their last album, Coma Witch (I’d credit the artist, but I can’t find his or her name anywhere):

So. Birds, a crescent moon, and a lava lamp seem to be the recurring themes here. What could it mean?

Think about it while you listen to Gravebloom‘s first single, “Bitter Pill,” below. It’s classic TAS — which is to say, it’s music’s answer to having a rhino stand on your neck.
