As of this writing, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has already made $427 million dollars worldwide. So I assume you’ve seen it. But if you haven’t seen it, or you’re gonna see it again, keep your eyes peeled for a cameo from one Mr. Richard Christy:

Writer/director James Gunn added:

Christy plays a member of the Ravagers — basically a gang of space pirates led by Michael Rooker’s character, Yondu (non-nerds: the blue dude with the fin). Metal Injection says that The Howard Stern Shows says that Christy even has a line of dialogue in the movie — “Down there!” — the approximate timing of which Christy has now revealed:

Assuming you’ve seen the flick, the scene is very memorable, so you’re either already kicking yourself for missing Christy’s cameo, or, like me, you spotted it but mistakenly thought it was the “That was my favorite knife” dude from the first movie (which, now that I think of it, would make no sense).

If you haven’t seen the movie, to tell you what’s happening in that scene would be a massive spoiler, so… just keep your eyes peeled.

Also worth noting: Christy isn’t the only musician to play a ravager in the movie. Rob Zombie has a vocal cameo in the movie as “Unseen Ravager,” while Jimmy Urine from Mindless Self Indulgence actually has a not-insubstantial part as “Halfnut,” the crazy-eyed dude with the Colin Marston haircut.
