What if Slipknot Tuned Up? What if Slipknot Tuned Down?
Ever wondered what it would sound like if Slipknot, uh, slipped their tuning way up or way down? Well, wonder no more: this new pair of videos from Pete Cottrell and Andrew Baena answer that very question!
The short version is: when tuned up, Slipknot sounds weird, and when tuned down, Slipknot sounds like deathcore (decent deathcore I mean, not like Thy Art is Murder or whatever), which isn’t really surprising.
