Today: Mutoid Man Take Over the MetalSucks Instagram Account!

We at MetalSucks have been fans of Mutoid Man for as long as it’s even been possible to be a fan of Mutoid Man. We loved the crap out of their debut album Helium Head, we invited them to play at our annual South by South Death showcase a few months after its release, and we’ve adored everything they’ve done since. It’s been a pleasure to watch the band grow into their own, unique entity — completely independent of the members’ past famous bands — and to watch them experience sustained success and acclaim along the way.

So: it is with full trust that we hand Mutoid Man the keys to the MetalSucks Instagram account today, as the band gets ready to play their second of two sold out shows at Brooklyn’s Saint Vitus in celebration of their newly released third album War Moans (stream it below, order it here). Don’t throw a party and trash the house while mom and dad are out of town… ok, guys?
