Video: Robert Trujillo’s 12-Year-Old Son Jams with Suicidal Tendencies

So remember that free Suicidal Tendencies gig the got shut down by the cops over the weekend? Well, as it turns out, former Suicidal Tendencies bassist Robert Trujillo (he went on to join some underground band called Metallica) and his twelve-year-old son, Tye, were both in attendance, and Trujillo the Younger got a chance to jam with the band during their soundcheck:

That Tye is already so proficient with his instrument isn’t a surprise, given that the kid just finished touring with Korn when most boys his age are primarily concerned with fart jokes and touching a boob for the first time. Still, the above video seems like a much more impressive display of his talents… probably because those talents are being wasted on Korn music.

Kidding aside, this lil’ dude has now jammed with Dave Lombardo and Dean Pleasants, Korn, and, we can assume, at least one member of Metallica. It’s a rough life, but someone has to live it.
