Ozzfest Meets Knotfest is Coming Back in 2017
Last week Ozzy Osbourne stoked the tinker crazy rumor train by dropping the following nugget on Twitter, suggesting that an announcement regarding a 2017 incarnation of the long-running Ozzfest festival is imminent:

And wouldn’t you know it, Ozzy — recently reunited with guitarist Zakk Wylde — has now made an announcement… that another announcement is coming soon:
Insofar as we actually get any news here it’s that this year’s event will be another Ozzfest Meets Knotfest, which shouldn’t surprise many. At this late stage a full-on Ozzfest tour would be a near logistic impossibility, and that’s in the extremely unlikely event the organizers had any interest in bringing back the touring version of the festival anyway.
Last year’s inaugural Ozzfest Meets Knotfest took place at the San Manuel Amphitheater and Festival Grounds in San Bernardino, CA on September 24th and 25th with Ozzy and Slipknot headlining respective nights. Given the timing of the announcement for this year’s event I think it’s reasonable to conjecture it’ll also be two days, in California, and around the same time period. We’ll know more come July 10th and naturally so will you.
