Too Soon? Maximus’ Best of 2017… So Far

Another year, another sourcing of best-of lists from the MetalSucks overlords. As a member of MS’s zionist cultural conspiratorial cabal, I’ve heard a lot of music, seen Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume. 2, listened to most of Bill Simmons’ NBA podcasts, and stopped reading the news, so I feel pretty confident about assessing the state of the culture.

I know these lists aren’t supposed to be in ranked order, but mine is. What follows are, for me, the great musical achievements of 2017 so far:

Full of Hell – Trumpeting Ecstasy (Profound Lore)

John Frum – A Stirring in the Noos (Relapse)

That about sums it up for me! A lot of big releases are slated for the coming months, so it’ll be interesting to see how the rankings shift.
