One GOP Senator Pranked Another by Signing Him Up for Nickelback’s E-mail List
If Nickelback are sick of being the butt of jokes about how awful and torturous their music is, well… this ain’t gonna help.
See, Senator Ben Sasse (R-Neb.) apparently has a penchant for cracking jokes about the Canadian band on Twitter… and to his credit, he’s often quite droll (I particularly like the one about ruining a first date):

That’s right: an eighty-three-year-old Republican senator from Utah is the brilliant mastermind behind this ingenious act of irritation! BWA-HA-HA-HA!!!
Seriously, I ain’t buyin’ it. I just don’t believe for a second that Orrin fucking Hatch has any idea who Nickelback are, or the sense of humor to pull a stunt like this. Maybe it was a younger member of his staff. Maybe.
