Gigan’s New Song “Plume of Ink Within a Vacuum” Will Melt Your Mind

Gigan will carry on the proud tradition of tech-death bands writing about barely-comprehensible sci-fi nonsense with their new album, Undulating Waves of Rainbiotic Iridescence. At least, I’m assuming they will. That title sure does sound like some barely-comprehensible sci-fi nonsense… as does the title of the album’s first single, “Plume of Ink Within a Vacuum.”

I’m just busting balls: I may be far too lazy to ever type the album’s entire title ever again, but that doesn’t negate the fact that “Plume” is pretty damn great. In fact, listening to it helps justify the what-the-fuckness of the band’s name choices, because the track is basically five minutes of how-the-fuckness… as in, “How the fuck did they play that?”

Check out “Plume” below. The album itself comes out September 15 on Willowtip. Pre-order it here (physical) or here (digital).
