Mastodon’s Brann Dailor Was on Game of Thrones Again Last Night

Apparently, Mastodon drummer Brann Dailor was on Game of Thrones again last night.

I say “apparently” because I watched the episode intently and somehow completely missed him. I tend to miss some of the passing details on this show because it gives me so much anxiety (and yet, I can’t stop watching). But Metal Injection got a screen cap of Dailor playing a White Walker (click to enlarge):

Brent Hinds is also supposed to return to the show this season, but I guess he wasn’t in last night’s episode… or, at least, no one spotted him.

ANYWAY, I’m glad that unlike some celebrity musician cameos, these Mastodon drop-ins aren’t distracting. I’m thrilled that Game of Thrones and metal have embraced one another, but mostly, I just wanna enjoy my stories, y’know?
