Cannibal Corpse Announce New Album, Fall Tour with Power Trip and Gatecreeper

Cannibal Corpse Power Trip Gatecreeper 2017 tourA press release announcing Cannibal Corpse’s fall tour just hit the MS Mansion inbox with the following buried nugget: “as-yet-untitled full-length, due out this fall.” That’s great news! New Cannibal Corpse music to look forward to, even if we know basically nothing about it yet.

But back to the tour: Cannibal Corpse will hit the road for five weeks in November and December, and they’ll be taking Power Trip and Gatecreeper along with them. Power Trip only seem to be getting more and more popular with each passing day — particularly with the youngins — so I wouldn’t doubt some Power Trip fans buy tickets specifically to see them, and then, hopefully, stick around to be wowed by the godfathers of death metal. Likewise, who amongst the most jaded of Cannibal Corpse fans won’t enjoy Power Trip’s energetic thrash assault? Same for Gatecreeper: what an excellent opportunity to get in front of people and bowl them over (and on a personal level, I’m stoked to finally see them live).
