After 25 shows spanning three months, the North American leg of Metallica’s WorldWired stadium tour finally comes to a close tonight in Edmonton. They’ll be heading over to Europe for some dates this fall, and after a three month break they’ll return for more shows there in the winter and into spring, but tonight’s show marks their final one on North American soil in 2017 (at least as far as we know) — all 48 trucks, 83 lasers and 40,000 individual speakers of it.
