Song Premiere: Legend, “Captive”

Featuring members of Solstafir and Minus, Reykjavik’s Legend are equal parts rock, metal and electronic without fitting neatly into any of those categories. Most noticeably, they pay homage to ’90s industrial through their use of buzzsaw guitars, searing keyboards, aggressive backbeats and dark, pensive tones. A tour featuring Legend, Youth Code, 3Teeth and Hogwasche would be the best thing to happen to a fan of industrial short of Trent Reznor and Al Jourgensen showing up to their house with a bottle of vodka and some bondage gear.
