If there’s one thing I know about you, dear metalhead, it’s this: you enjoy great riffs. Right? That’s the very basis of what got us all here in the first place.

So here is what I’ll tell you about Propagandhi’s new album Victory Lap, their seventh: it’s got to-notch fucking riffs, and lots of ’em. Sure, it’s not metal, but some of these riffs are basically just thrash riffs reimagined in punk rock form. They go hard, they go fast and they’re catchy as fuck, and although Propagandhi are most certainly a punk band there’s a whole lot here for metalheads to enjoy, too. I’m digging the fuck out of Victory Lap so far despite admittedly not giving this band much of a chance in the past. They’re really good!
