The 2018 nominees for the completely meaningless Rock & Roll Hall of Fame have been announced, and the list includes 2.5 metal bands: Judas Priest, Rage Against the Machine, and Bon Jovi. Fans can vote on the nominees here. You’re allowed to vote once a day every day through December 5, so if you really care that much, y’know, by all means, vote for Judas Priest every day for the next two months. The winners (is that the right word for this?) will be inducted in April in Cleveland, where the HoF is actually situated because, as we all know, rock music was invented by such Ohio natives as Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley, and The Beatles.

The full list of nominees is below, if you’re curious as to who will inevitably beat out Halford and company, who will provide fodder for Gene Simmons’ tacit racism this year, etc.

  • Radiohead
  • Rage Against The Machine
  • Judas Priest
  • Bon Jovi
  • Depeche Mode
  • The Cars
  • Dire Straits
  • MC5
  • Kate Bush
  • J. Geils Band
  • LL Cool J
  • Eurythmics
  • The Meters
  • The Moody Blues
  • Rufus featuring Chaka Khan
  • Nina Simone
  • Sister Rosetta Tharpe
