primitive-man-causticPrimitive Man’s newest onslaught of slow, churning, blackened brutality was unleashed from its chains today, and it is heavy beyond your wildest, darkest dreams. MetalSucks Co-founder Vince Neilstein said they “might just be the heaviest band going today,” and Axl Rosenberg agrees that they’re certainly something to behold; packed with pounding riffs, deep, crashing beats, a voice of pure agony and a healthy coating of feedback, this album is sure to pummel you back into your seat.

The album was initially streamed on Noisey, where Ben Hutcherson has posted a wonderful interview with Primitive Man’s vocalist Ethan McCarthy in which they discuss the band’s music, some of the inspiration for the album and the world around them, which you can read here.

Listen to Primitive Man’s Caustic below; it comes out today and you can order it here.
