Video: Suicide Silence Perform with Jared Dines

Props to Suicide Silence. We already knew from first-hand experience that the band have a sense of humor about the haters…

…but they really took shit to the next level by inviting Jared Dines to join them on-stage for a recent performance of “No Pity for a Coward.” Dines, you may recall, was one of the most outspoken critics of Suicide Silence’s self-titled release, which came out earlier this year. There was the infamous “Doris”/”tee-hee” video, the “Doris” acoustic emo cover, and this clip ripping the song “Silence,” in which Dines joked about fighting drummer Alex Lopez. Point being, you really would not have expected Dines to be welcome at a Suicide Silence show these days, let alone welcome on their stage. Good for the band for having such a thick skin. Hopefully other bands follow their lead and lighten the fuck up.

You can watch video of Dines performing with Suicide Silence below. Suicide Silence are celebrating the tenth anniversary of The Cleansing on tour now; get dates here.
