King of #SoftShred Myrone Just Released a New Album, Very Relaxed and Lavish

He’s a prolific one, that Myrone! In just over a year he’s released THREE full length albums and an EP, all available at his Bandcamp page. Even if two of those full-lengths saw the king of #softshred compiling various tracks he’d put out individually on Soundcloud over the years, that’s still insanely impressive; most bands put out one album every two years if they’re quick.

Myrone’s latest, Very Relaxed and Lavish, isn’t only all brand new songs — I haven’t heard ANY of these before, and I follow closely — it’s also an all new sound. Very Relaxed and Lavish straddles the lines between vaporwave, smooth jazz, elevator music and softshred, slowing things down to a pace that feels, well… very relaxed… and lavish. It’s the sound of rolling up to a Miami pool party in a box-shouldered business suit, briefcase in hand. It’s the sound of sipping a strawberry daquiri from a straw surrounded by classy babes in bikinis at a marble-top hotel bar. It’s the sound of oversized aviator sunglasses. It’s the sound of Myrone, just reimagined in a classier, less bombastic form.
