This pro-shot video of Machine Head performing “Now We Die” in San Francisco in 2015 is pretty much the best imaginable advertisement for the band’s upcoming headlining tour, which kicks off less than two months from now. Which is obviously at least part of why the band released it. But still: the fact that the fans in this clip are circle-pitting to fucking violins gives you a sense of the intensity of Machine Head’s live shows. And keep in mind, the more or less exclusively do the “An Evening With” format now, so this was probably, like, hour seventeen of the show. I’m saying these dudes bring it.

Watch the “Now We Die” live video below. It will be included in the CD/DVD edition of Machine Head’s new album, Catharsis, which comes out January 26 on Nuclear Blast. Listen to the first single, “Beyond the Pale,” here, and pre-order the album here. Get all of the band’s upcoming tour dates here. And while we’re on the topic, listen to your MetalSucks co-founders interview Machine Head’s Robb Flynn here!!!
