Memorial Service for Warrel Dane (Nevermore, Sanctuary) to Be Live Streamed

2017 gave us all one last good kick in the proverbial nuts when Nevermore/Sanctuary vocalist Warrel Dane died abruptly from a heart attack at age fifty-six. Many of us consequently spent a good portion of our Decembers cranking Dane’s music in remembrance, but outside of our own social circles, there haven’t yet been many opportunities for communal mourning.

That will all change with a public memorial service for Dane, set to take place this Sunday, January 7, at Studio Seven in Seattle. Fret not: you don’t actually have to live in or near Seattle to take part. TopLeftTV will not only stream the service live, but tell MetalSucks that they will also be “capturing memories being shared after the broadcast.”

It hasn’t been publicly announced which, if any, of Dane’s former bandmates will speak at the service. Regardless, I imagine many Dane fans will want to watch.

You can do so here at 4 pm PST/ 7 pm EST starting at on Sunday. We’ll try to remind you when the service begins.
