Watch the New “Zero Cool” Music Video From Wrong (It’s Actually Pretty Cool)

Did I take too much acid again? Four-piece Miami noise rock band Wrong’s latest music video, “Zero Cool,” has me falling through the rabbit hole of a trip gone wrong. Directed by Frank Huang, who has also shot a whole lot for MetalSucks YouTube channel, the video is a perfect audio/visual representation of psychological torture. While I’m not entirely sure what’s going on, I’m pretty sure that’s the point. What I do know is that after watching this video a hundred times, I’m going to be seeing through an eerie watercolor filter for the next few days.

As far as the song goes, it’s just as bludgeoning as everything we’ve heard from Wrong thus far. It punches you in the throat right from the get go, and unfolds into complete and utter chaos. Yes, I have a hard-on for comparing everything to Mastodon (fight me), but if 2005 Mastodon were to turn up the distress meter to 11, this would be the result.
