Weedeater’s “Dixie” Dave Collins DJed Randy Blythe’s Wedding

Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe has been married since 2005. His wife Cindy has one helluva talented and intelligent man by her side!

But this, as far as I can tell, is new information to the public: the Blythes chose Weedeater vocalist/bassist “Dixie” Dave Collins to DJ and MC the celebration, as revealed by Randy in an Instagram post over the weekend inspired by Weedeater’s show in Randy’s home town of Richmond, VA. When I first saw the post my initial read was that Dixie Dave officiated the marriage, which would’ve been even more badass, but we’re willing to bet he provided some hilarious between-song banter and played some rockin’ tunes at the reception.

The words Dixie Dave chose to roast the new couple remain locked inside the memories of those present, but we bet he ran a killer DJ set and hope he had the good sense to skip that bastion of white people weddings everywhere: “Don’t Stop Believin’.” Although by no means has this couple stopped believin’: going on 13 years strong!
