Kerrang! Says These are the 21 Best American Metalcore Albums of All Time

Having already pissed-off the thin-skinned with their graphic illustrating what they believe to be the best metal band from every state in the U.S. (save for Hawaii), Kerrang! have now once again invited controversy by releasing a list of what they believe to be ‘The 21 Best U.S. Metalcore Albums of All Time.’ There are plenty of reasons why this list will cause Internet flame wars, not least of which being that people can barely even seem to agree on what constitutes metalcore. Like… is it bonkers that Earth Crisis, who I think would consider themselves a hardcore band, is on here, but Darkest Hour, who practically created metalcore, aren’t? I dunno. I’m just thinking out loud here.
