Khemmis Announce New Album, Debut First Single

Wow, 4/20/18 will really go down as one for the history books. We got a surprise Sleep album, a surprise Cancer Bats album, new tunes from Amorphis and the Binary Code and Ingested (and, uh, Five Finger Death Punch), an Immortal album announcement, and now a new song and album announcement from Khemmis! Talk about an embarrassment of riches. It’s almost a shame that after all the weed we smoke today we won’t even remember most of it.

ANYHOO, Khemmis’ new album will be called Desolation, and the first single is called “Isolation.” We don’t have a track listing, so, unfortunately, I don’t know how many other “lation”-themed songs are on the record. There’s a fuckton of possibilities, though, so it could very well be the case.

Whatever. Not important. “Isolation” is pretty great, and I say that as someone who likes Khemmis only a fraction of a percentage of the amount everyone else seems to. But if that guitar solo doesn’t knock you flat on your ass, you must have already been sitting down.
