Track Premiere: Binary Code, “The Absolute Nothing”

0

You think you know Binary Code already. You do not.

The members of the band stopped by The MetalSucks Mansion recently to play us their latest album and… HO-LEE SHIT. “Creative renaissance” would be a massive understatement. Toss what you think you know about The Binary Code out the window and start completely fresh. Binary Code have always been an immensely talented group of dudes, but their latest offering is next level.

Today MetalSucks is incredibly stoked to share with the world “The Absolute Nothing,” the first song to be released from Binary Code’s forthcoming album Memento Mori. Guitarist and band founder Jesse Zuretti tells us of the track and album:

“‘The Absolute Nothing’ is a musical excerpt from Memento Mori, an upcoming album forged at the deepest level of grief; a raw testimony of the struggle to accept the burdens and brutal bindings of our own minds. This is a story about human limitations, a tragic surrender to emotional demons, and the heart-wrenching aftermath of a horrific death.”

Binary Code assembled an all-star team of collaborators on Memento Mori: Aaron Smith (7 Horns 7 Eyes) emerges from the depths of the death metal underground to deliver a mind-bogglingly stellar production job (Zuretti tells us “We worked on every detail of the album with Aaron”), John Douglass produced and engineered the vocals, while legendary visual artist Eliran Kantor has been tapped to create the album cover (can’t wait to see it).

Listen to “The Absolute Nothing” below and prepare your ears for more like it when the band releases Memento Mori in the near future; details forthcoming.
