Doro’s new song, “All for Metal,” is about how Doro is, um, all for, like, metal and stuff. But it should be called “All for My Belt.” Because jeez Louise, does this lady love to grab her belt. In fact, the drinking game we suggested for the video for the title track to her last album, 2012’s “Raise Your Fist,” can totally be played here, too: take a drink for every shot in the video in which she has at least one hand on her belt. Good luck being alive when it’s over. I mean, there’s a bunch of famous people in here, like Johan Hegg from Amon Amarth, Chuck Billy from Testament, Kreator’s Mille Petrozza, the dudes from Sabaton, and Warrel Dane (R.I.P.), and the amount of time she spends clutching that belt is STILL the most interesting thing about the video. Well, that, and wondering how much time she spent headbanging in front of a strobe light for this thing.

“All for Metal” will appear on Doro’s new album, Forever Warriors, Forever United, which comes out August 17 on Nuclear Blast. You can pre-order it here. The cover art is below. It appears to include Nikki Sixx but I can’t figure out why — I don’t think he had anything to do with this album.
